Modeling Cyclone separators

I am trying to model cyclones to get the capture efficiency for various particle sizes using FLUENT 6.3. After many hours of reading through the documentation, I am not sure the correct approach: DPM or Multiphase?

Re: Modeling Cyclone separators

depending on the size of particles... and its volume fraction. mostly we use DPM for cyclone problems. here u can give various diameters to particles.. and Rosin rammler approach to distribute the particles.
