wind tunnel simulation

I am trying to simulate the flow of a closed circuit wind tunnel in Fluent but the results are not making sense. I am running the simulation in 2ddp.

I modeled the fan section by cutting the tunnel and having two boundaries. For the boundary that corresponds to the fan outlet I assigned velocity inlet, and for the boundary that corresponds to the fan inlet I chose outflow. Could anybody let me know wich boundary conditions should I assign to the boundaries representing the fan inlet and fan outlet. Any suggestions about an adequate viscous model?

Thanks a lot !

Re: wind tunnel simulation

Hi, try with Pressure Inlet and outlet combination, since fan is a momentum source, u can try this. Raju Ramaiah
