Default Particle sample file doesn't match R-R distributio

I'm injecting DPM particles into a 2D flow using the Rosin-Rammler size distribution method. I've matched the exponential function from Fluent's user guide to the actual particle distribution.

The problem is that the mass distribution of particles being injected doesn't match the exponential function at all.

I've searched through all the previous posts on this topic and I haven't found a solution. I realize that Fluent injects a uniform number of particles for each size, but that the mass distribution should match. But in my case it doesn't.

Thanks for your help.
