hello friends, I am trying to model packed bed reactor.here are the conditions i am using.// 2D,;// 2 phase Eulerian flow; //Primary Phase: Liq. reactant (mix of 5 species); // Sec. Phase: aluminum<solid> (Granular particle, Packed bed)// all the reactants and products are in liquid phase, and reaction is carried out at the surface of the catalyst particle. catalyst is not taking part in the reaction. // For this case, which model I have to go with, either Surface Reaction Model or Heterogeneous Reaction Model.

thanks in advance // sathees (sathees@iitk.ac.in)
