Hello, I am creating a mesh for 3D pipe in Gambit. The pipe is 25.4mm ID and 2.038m long. The requirement of the mesh is as: 1. Along the azimuthal-direction: small number less than 10 2. Along the radial-direction: around 20 3. Along the axial-direction: around 1000
Is there any suggestions? I tried different ways in Gambit but failed to do it. I appreciate it if some one kindly provides any suggestions. |

That would be helpful to split the pipe if it's not a straight one.

Thank you very much for the reply. Could you please provide more details? Do you mean that I use another smaller pipe to divide my pipe into two parts?

What does the geometry look like? Post a screen capture. Upload it on imageshack.

Thanks for the reply.
The pipe is simply straight with a diameter of 25.4 mm and 2.038 meters long. I appreciate it if any suggestions are provided. |
