How i can design my geometry in Autocad and after i pass it the Gambit? It is needed to save the model which i make in Autocad, at concrete type of file?

.igs should work too (in Autocad Mechanical 2007 works)

Re: CAD & GAMBIT
if you are geomentry in autocad is 3D then no problem you have to export your model in .Sat format from autocad and inport it to gambit. If you want to export 2d domains then you required help of third party tools like turbocad for exporting 2d domains to gambit as .sat file

Re: CAD & GAMBIT
there are so many extentions which gambit is capable of handling. the .sat file is used for solid entities only! so for several solids there is recommended to use some other extention. IGS and other files can be used too! but it depends to the case.
