out of memory

Default out of memory

i haven't changed my system settings.when i try to access my saved case & data files,i get 'out of memory' messgae.what can be the reason?

thumb rule is for 1 million cells...1 GB Ram..if your system does not have that it may occur..please check.

thanks.i have 512kB memory & could use fluent for many days.why with the same system configuartion i am gettion this problem?

perhaps you have saved the data in C:\ route! check it out.

well maybe thats because you do not have enough memory on c:\ drive. try saving data in another drive. because for the memory allocation etc., the system uses the available memory on C: route too!

You can buy 1GB memory for about 20-30 $ today. It will probably solves your problem and also allow you to refine your mesh, if need.
