Importing IGES files into GAMBIT and meshing

hello

I am trying to import a simple cone with half angle 25 degrees into gambit and mesh it.

I created a cylindrical geometry around the cone and was trying to generate a mesh after subtracting the cone geometry from the surrounding cylinder.

I am getting some errors and not able to work around the problem

Any suggestions ?

regards kartik

Re: Importing IGES files into GAMBIT and meshing

Hello Rishikesh ..

I am running GAMBIT on a university SUN Sparc box at GWU. So I don't have any license information on it.

At this stage I am getting a "Out of memory" error while it's doing the meshing and I have to kill the process.

Do you know if this is because there are too many mesh elements being generated with respect to memory allocated locally on the box?

Regards kartik
