BOILING HEAT TRANSFER COEFFICIENT
Hi, I try to find a correlation for the heat transfer coefficient along vertical pipe filled with porous media. The flow enters the pipe as subcooled liquid (at room temperature) and leaves the pipe as superheat.
I really do not care about phase change inside the pipe. The most important for me is the prediction of temperature at the outlet of the pipe and the heat flux along the pipe. The liquid mixture enters the pipe is a mixture of methanol/water, however I believe that I can use an average peoperties of both liquids. The heat transfer coefficient should be changing along the pipe according to different phase change regions. I appreciate any help with refering to papers or an idea about how to do this. Thank you, John |
