Hi all,

I would like to model a cylidrical volume with a small porous region inside, in Fluent. So I have defined a region of the cylindrical volume as porous zone in boundary conditions panel. Buti didn't understand some of the options in Porous zone menu. Can anyone please help me what the following items represent and when i have to activate these options.

1. Relative velocity resistance formulation(what does it mean and when should i activate it) 2. Inertial resistance (what does it mean and when should i activate it) 3. Powerlaw model(what does it mean and when should i activate it) 4. Fluid porocity(what does it mean and when should i activate it)

thanks in advance

Hi I would like to model a cylinderical volume with 1 inlet and 2 outlets. there are two phase flow of liquid droplets and air in this volume.the volume fraction of liquid droplets are very low, about 0.0001.I use dpm model in this simulation but I can't show the accumulated liquid level or high in this tank. please help me and present me any method in this tank simulation. Thanks.

hi I simulated the two vane plates using DPM method by fluent software.the air flow with liquid droplets were injected between this plates. I would like to compute the efficiency in this system. please show me the related icons in the fluent software. t Thanks.
