Can anyone tell me how to initiate combustion in FLUENT. (1) I divided my 2-D domain into 10 zones with FLUID as continuum type. (2) While initializing, I selected all zones, accepted the default values, then I selected Ini, and then Apply. I assumed initial temperature to be 300 K throughtout the domain. (3) Then I selected Patch option, selected a FLUID zone, and assigned temperature of 3000 K. (4) But after 100 iterations, the maximum temperature is only 400 K. I suppose that the effect of 3000 K is not reflected in the result.
