Extracting result from fluent xy plot

Hi.... I am having difficulty extracting result from the wall of my 3d cylindrical model, where I want to find the x-y plot of static pressure vs distance on the wall surface.... the results are not clear when I select wall option to plot the graph because of 3d nature of the model... can someone please explain how to obtain the result from wall of cylindrical model along a line...
P.S. I tried making a line coinciding with the wall surface but due to the dynamic nature of the wall it could only capture 2-3 points.... |

What do you mean by dynamic nature of the wall?
How about this, open the results in CFD Post and create a polyline as an intersection of a plane and wall. And then plot pressure on it? OJ |

by dynamic nature I mean that is it is moving in a sinusoidal pattern resembling a model in vibration

Hi Nitman,
Were you able to find a solution to your problem? I'm faced with the same situation and it would be great if you could share your experience. Thank you! |
