I would like to know if it is possible to set reactions in porous media by using the software Fluent, so that the porous media acts as a reactant. I need to model a problem that consists in a filter with a fixed bed (calcium hydroxide) that reacts with a gas (SO2). Is it possible to take into account the variation in porosity and permeability of the fixed bed while the reaction occurs?
