Default Y+ FOR k-e MODEL
Posts: n/a
I want to make a mesh which heve near the wall (y+>30) for apply k-e model. How can i compute the Y length (length from wall to first node) for i make in Gambit (with the first length mesh) the mesh of geometry?

it depends on your issue. you may reference other books about viscous fluid dynamics. I have not simulate that problem, so I can't tell you the non dimentional length.

Good luck, xinboy,
