importing Icem mesh into Gambit

Hii....I am facing a problem while importing a hybrid mesh, which is created in ICEMCFD, into gambit. Actually i created a half mesh in ICEMCFD and try to reflecting the other half but it is giving some interface problems..so i am trying to mirroring in Gambit.

You can set the mirror face internal.

Hi srinavas

You can mirror the mesh in icem it self it has the capability. The reason why i am insisting you to do it icem is gambit needs geometrical definations for that mesh so it would be very cumbersome long process. If you have some idea in icem copy that mesh against the mirror plane and even icem will ask you if you want to merge the nodes of that mirror copy and original copy.(tetra mesh)

or

You can export a *.msh file from icem read it in Tgrid and then mirror it which would be more easier then the gambit process.

If its not possible mail me the mesh at udayrg@gmail.com zipped i would do it for you.

Ok you have the project file for icem rght

Go to edit mesh option and the that select mesh transformation tool

once you go there you would have four options the third one is for mirroring put on copy option and merge nodes option automatic and even delete duplicate node option select the refelction axis or plane according to you geometry and its done.
