Dear all, I knew that for the 3-dimensional problem, the turbulent intensity can be obtained by I=sqrt(2*K/3)/Uref. But for the two-dimensional problem, will it formula still can be use? I thought for 2-dimensional problem, only u,u',v,v' can be solved. So will the formula become like this: I=sqrt(K)/Uref. Your kindly advice will be greatly appreciated!

I have the same problem and I think for 2D I would be I=sqrt(K)/Uref. have you got any answers regarding that?
