I haven't run any H/T myself but I know Fluent has ample documentation of this topic in the manual. That would be my first place to start.

hi there, i go through tutorial and i set up this problem as discribe below. - there are two domain one is for fluid 1 say water which is flow through pipe and other is for fluid 2 say air, which is flow outside of pipe. - in boundary condition there are water inlet(velocity and temp of water is specified), water outlet(outflow), air inlet(velocity and temp), air outlet(outflow), and wall(shell conduction with 2mm thickness of wall, coupled)

but i didnt get satisfactary result i.e. as i seen from result file heat is not transfer from water to air through pipe wall and temperature of air remains same through out the domain.

please help me..

I think you may get some help from userguid bellow. See the section "Modeling Heat Transfer in Two Separated Fluid Regions" http://193.204.76.120/fluent6.2/help...g//node486.htm

I hope it will help you...
