Gambit Journal file descrpencies
 

I created a Gambit journal file in order to streamline the meshing of 2-D airfoils. When I use this file using the vertex data for a symmetrical and for an asymmetrical airfoil, Gambit creates edges in a separate order in each of the two cases and consequentially the numbering of these edges are different. This problem is arising when I subtract a smaller (airfoil) face from a larger (flow domain) face. Is there a workaround for this, say where I could directly assign the names for these new edges? (The edges created by subtracting a smaller face from a larger face) Or, is there a way for me to differentiate the "LE" and "TE" edges, say by somehow determining their respective locations or their relative sizes? This numbering problem is a problem later on when I apply an edge meshing scheme to the edges. Any help you can provide in this matter is much appreciated. Cheers.
