In what package was the mesh file (.mesh) created?

Hey, thx for this quick answer! actually, i dont know that because it is the result of a tomography of a polyurethan foam, which was of course realized with a very specific software... I only know that it is a binary file...with a ".mesh" extension. But I will ask for the name of this software! thx a lot!

So you are trying to use this as geometry - not a mesh - right? Best to figure out how to convert to STL or some other 'standard' triangulated data that Gambit can read to then mesh it.

Thx for your answer! actually, this ".mesh" format is a classical one, using a delaunay triangulary meshing and i'm quite surprised that gambit cannot read this kind of file... i'll try to use "openfoam" to convert this but i'm sure there is another way to convert it directly! (but of course, i dont know which one ;-) ) thx for your kind help
