How do I compile a UDF from a .c file?

I'm very new to UDFs, and I have a .c file that I borrowed from someone. I don't know how to compile it.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

you need a c compiler and set the correct compiler environment as the compiler prespecified.

I understand the basic concept... a pointer to a compiler would be great.

Hello Travis

Fluent can compile UDFs, but it has to be launched from the command prompt if you're using a windows machine. Select the .c source file and press Build and Load (Define -> User Defined -> Function -> Compiled...)

There will definitely be more info in the UDF Manual or this forum. Kris
