How to specify the axis in 2D axis-symmetric case?

How to specify the 2D axis-symmetric case? If the axis is out of domain (to be modeled).

Please let me know.

Thanks

then specify the x-axis as axis

Could you please let me know the command to do in Fluent.

No one knows how to specify axis. when your axis is out of domain to modeled.

there is basically no need to specify the axis if model have no axes at all. you just need to make the model in gambit in such a way so that the flow is in the direction of x-axis (+ve must be as i guess), moreover other axis should be y axis.

then you just read mesh in fluent and choose the axisymetric model, and then just normaly defien boundary conditions for walls, inlet, outlet (as necessary).

then just run your simulation , that is just simple
