Default defining flux across face for interior boundary

hello

I am trying to solve for electric fields in a domain containing air and dielectric

Across the interface of the two materials, potential lines must be conserved

For this I am trying to set a flux BC for the potential UDS by using DEFINE_PROFILE and setting the F_PROFILE to the interface boundary

However, when I create the geometry and export to fluent, at the interior face a interior face/face shadow pair is created by fluent

I am not sure how to define boundary condition in this case

Should I set the flux such that flux is incoming into one face and out going from other face

or

Is the re a way where I can delete the face shadow ?

Thank you very much

if its an interior dont use define profile as this is for external boundaries. Use Define heat flux macro instead. Wall and wall shadows represent either side of a thin wall.
