Weld pool

Could we use Vof method and Moving referance frame to modelise the deformation of the top surface during laser welding process. Thanks a lot.

hi Thanks a lot for your replay. I want to simulate the deformation of the upper surface of the weld pool during Nd:Yag laser welding using volume of fluid methode( FLuent). If you want more details juste ask me.
