Porous Media

Hi every one..I need help to simulate Engine air filter using Porous media boundary condition can anybody help me with any value to test Air Engine Filter? I canīt find any value about Face Permeablity(m2), and Pressure jump coefficient (C2)(1/m)

Thank you all Regards Alfonso

Re: Porous Media

i have uploaded some pages from fluent manual in my web page. there are so many ways by which you can get value of alpha & C2. http://home.iitk.ac.in/~sathees/ hope it helps

Hello Sathees Kannan Again

Hello Sathees Kannan First of all Iwould like to thank you for help me lately and again Sorry for bother you again I have been studing to simualate Engine Air filter and to compute C2 and Alpha as you advice me a couple days ago and now I canīt compute E=Void Fraction and Dp=mean particle diameter and also I donīt know what mean is

I need this values to put inside de equation and solve the problem would you please help me with this problem?

Thank you so much Kindly Regards Alfonso
