Hi everyone,

I just started using the DPM model and I wanted to know how to track particles with time. If I need to inject particles in a chamber and see the evolution of the distribution with time, should I wait till I get stable residuals and a converged solution and then start tracking the particles with time? i.e. when shall I start monitoring the decay and how can I specify the time or dt I want to track them for ?

For unsteady injections if I set t0=0 and t1=1 in the injection panel, what does it mean it will keep injecting particles during a second and where can I specify the inter-injection time?

One last thing, I read that when using surface injections, the number of particles injected are equal to the number of cells in that surface, does it mean that fluent wont take into account the flow rate we specify in the injection panel?

Thanks for your help….
