lets say i have a turbine, rect region 1, and rect region 2 (as shown below)..rect region 1 encounter whole turbine and rect region 2 encounter whole things(includes turbine and rect region 1)
I used rect region 1 subtract turbine = volume A then I used rect region 2 suntract A (retain) = volume B then i used volume mesh for A and B i set the faces around the rect region 1 as INTERIOR.. but when i import into Fluent (error such as cannot change to interior becuz there is only one adjecent cell thread) May i know how to solve it? because if i do not to set it as any boundary condition in gambit..it will automatically become WALL in fluent THX |

You may use "interface" instead of "interior", or, you should split region 2 to make sure A and B are connected such that you can define "interior" boundary between them.

If Gambit set your faces as wall, it means that they are not connected
I have a doubt about your second substract with retain I would split rect2 with A. clik on plugs-icon, the faces between 2 connected volumes should be pink |
