Default How to adapt region?

hello
i want to define air and water as picture below,but when i go to Adapt region in fluent i can just choose 4 points(a rectangular) to adapt my region,so if i want to define water as picture below what should i do,should i use adapt region two times to define water like this?

one time is enough,the vertex of rectangular can be located out of the geometry.

it means that water would exist out of my boundaries too,does it cause problems to my solve?(in my problem a wave will travel from left to right)

You can check the water phase distribution by contours of phases after patch,the water will not exist out of the boundaries.
