Hi
1. Does anybody know: how accurate VOF model can simulate slug flows? After 6 month I could get my first air-water slugs, but the length of the slugs and the shape of them are not like what I wanted. 2. And also flow do not follow Backer chart precisely. I mean that I do not get slug flows for the superficial velocities that are reported in Backer chart for slug flows ![]() 3. The interface shape is also not accurate. Any comment would be appreciated in advance. P.S. Setup:FLUENT 6.3 - VOF- LAMINAR - VERY FINE MESH - dt=10^-7 sec!! - air-water flow- Microchannel. |
