problem saving drag convergence history

Hi,
Well this is a wierd one but dont know why I am experiencing this. I am doin a 3D unsteady LES and to calculate relevant parameters I need to save my drag convergence history to an output file, so I check on the write option in the solve->monitor->force option but to my surprise when I start the solution no history file is created!!! (atleast not in my working directory and I have searched all over the hardrive its not there).
I tried troubleshooting with a simpler problem. So when I follow the same procedure in a parallel environment, using all the available processors the file is not created however if I run Fluent the normal way a history file is created when the solution process starts. I dont think tht this might be the case but this is wat I am experiencing.

I would be extremely greatful if anyone could point out the problem and guide me to a solution.

Regards,
Raheel

by the way its saving the history somewhere because even if stop the solution n close the plot and then start solving again the new plot has all the previous history !!!! but I just cant find the data file !!!

Fluent will create the file (also save case and data) from the path where you started fluent.
In other words, if you start fluent in C:/temp, all the files will be saved in /temp
