jose is on a distinguished road
Hi:
My name is Jose from Spain, I need some information of how to obtain the drag of a Ship with Fluent. I am validating Kriso KVLCC2 ship and the total CT coefficient is 0.00412 ( Experimental data) which is the sum of Frictional Coef and Pressure Coef. I am obtainig from fluent 0.0440 which is way wrong.
Maybe I am using a wrong proccedure to obtaing the coeffinet. The procedure which I am using is the following: Obteing in Report the force in the hull in the X vector. Before that imput the area of the hull, velocity and viscosity. Is the skin coeffient in the wxfluxes related?

Thank You
