Hi!
I have a 2D axis-symmetrical body that consist of some faces (front face, side face and back face, it is a cylinder in axial flow). I made some simulations of 2D axial flow with different Re and so on... I want to calculate the drag coefficient.. Now, two questions: - to get the total force that is acting on the body, I have to add the total forces acting on the front, the side and the back face in axial direction? - for some parameter, the total force on the side face is negative.. whereas the others are positive... how could that be? Thank you! Ralf
