Hello All

When I create my mesh in gambit and read it into fluent, somehow my zones get split into further parts. For example, the "default-interior" zone splits in default-interior:012 and default-interior:016. Also, the wall gets split into wall:002 etc., Why does this happen and more importantly, how do I prevent this from happening? Does it mean my gambit meshing is wrong?

-mAx- will become famous soon enough
no, your mesh isn't wrong.
I think you have defined a BC, which enforces Fluent to split your domain.
You can try to merge the faces together, but I assume it will fail (else Fluent wouldn't have separate the faces).
Check your BC, but you can work normally without problem
