There is no so much to say... new vision, made work more complicated..... the main difference is the implementation of ANSYS user interface

Hi
you must know about two things concerning updating fluent: 1) you can know work in " ANSYS Workbench 2.0" , which includes the whole Ansys offer. You can find in Workbench 2.0 : fluent 12.0, CFX , structural simutaion software, and so on... Workbench has now a common tool for CFD meshing, made of parts coming from gambit, Tgrid, and CFX. 2) You can still have a Fluent 12.0 " stand alone version", which keeps the same structure as Fluent 6.3: Gambit for meshing , Fluent for solving. In both cases, the solver have been implemented with combustion and DOF models. The parallelization process have been also updated especially bout openig and writing files.
