hello All

I am simulating a welding process ...in real case i have to heat a steel block...

Now since welding involves melting process solidus and liquidus temperature

there i am using solidification and melting process ...

Is this process of solidification and melting valid only for fluid or for both solid and fluid...

becoz in solid case it doesn't asks for solidus and liquidus temperature

please help!!!

regards student
