Hi....

Can anyone help in writing a udf for specifying velocity profile for turbulent flow....?
I wrote one and saved as a plain text with extension *.c.
It builds while running in fluent, but when trying to load,
A message comes like,

Error: open_udf_library: No such file or directory.

Any help is appreciated in advance...
Regards...

Fluent has an example for a parabolic velocity inlet - have you looked at that? Sounds like you would just need to follow that exactly, with the exception that you'd change the equation for the velocity profile.

Also, Fluent stores a log file in the directory where you're compiling your UDF (if you're using it as a compiled UDF.) Check that file for a description of the problem Fluent ran into loading the library.
