I am modelling a flow inside a sphere. Is it possible to model 1/4 th sector of sphere with periodc bounary condition.

it depends on your BC.
If they are periodic, you can use periodic BC If they are periodic, you can use symmetric BC (or 2d-axi model)

I don't think flame propagation is periodic / symmetric.
But I am not expert If I am right, then you will have to compute the full sphere.
