if it is just a question of view, then go to display/view

hey Max,

can you please tell me how i display a 3D image in fluent ? for velocity contour

-mAx- January 30, 2013 06:03

you need to display velocity contour on a face.
you can create a slice for example

zaynah04 January 30, 2013 06:14

oh i know this... i usually slice

but i wish to disply it in 3D insuch a way that we can see the shape and pattern inside the domain..

then you need to enable "overlay" option in diplay/scene.
Once it is done, you can display sour shape and the contour will remain

hi...

i got it.
but its not giving the proper resutl

if you want to see your contour inside your domain, then you need to play with transparency (display/scene)
