Hello, I am working on a project with a local company doing airflow testing over roof mounted solar panels. The company has given me 3d models of a solar panels and roof racks in solidoworks, and I have converted to to parasolid format and imported into Gambit. The geometry is very complex and I do not seem to be having any luck meshing in Gambit. Here is the geometry. 29 volumes, 434 faces, and about a billion lines.Any advice?

I can can email somebody the file so they can better help.

Try to simplify your geometry... I do not understand what is the purpose of the "lines" and if you tell what is expected to be done (wind pressure, thermal effects...) may be able to help...

-mAx- will become famous soon enough
What you show is only the solid domain, I assume you will have to solve an aero problem, so you have to extract the flui domain
--> boolean operation: substract the surrounding fluid domain wuth this solid domain
From solidworks you could direct export the geometry as step file and then import it within gambit
