Hello,
I want to simulate a vertically deforming zone which moves horizontally at the same time. It seems not possible to do so directly in Fluent, can it be done through an motion UDF? Maybe using a user-defined type of zone? Basically one block moves upwards over another block which should deform, but at the same time both of them move horizontally. Perhaps there is another way to solve this issue that I cannot think of right now. Thank you. |

Can you use sliding mesh for the horizontal move?

Well, both of them move together to the left, and there is another block on the left which deforms as the other two move horizontally.
It seems if one chooses user-defined it is possible specify both deforming and moving block but needs to be done manually in the UDF, which might be very difficult... |
