gizeh is on a distinguished road
Hello,
i am working on a 3d open channel simulation of a river bed.

While i can get the whole thing to run, i'm still not comfortable with the boundary conditions.

I defined one pressure inlet and one pressure outlet.

Now the bottom of the inlet is at z=0m and i want a water depth of 2.5m. So under the BC multiphase tab, is it right to set "Free surface level" to 2.5m and "Bottom level" to 0m?

The same applies to the outlet, here the bottom of the outlet is at z=-0.5m.
Does this mean i have to set the "Free surface level" to 2m and "Bottom Level to -0.5m?

Any help here would be much appreciated.
