UDF Time-dependent term in source

HI,

I am using Fluent and UDF to do my simulations.

In my source term for energy equation, there is a time-dependet term df/dt along with other terms depending on space i.e. du/dx

Gradient calculation in UDF is straight forward i.e. C_U_G(c,t)[0] and that is in space.

what about time? is there any nice commands like that or do I have to do my own first/second-order approximations of the term by calling the scalar at previous/earlier time steps?

Does anyone has something to share on this topic?
Thank you :)
