modeling of volume inside volume in gambit

hey everyone

I want to model a volume inside a volume and than how will i get final model so that flow of fluid should be affected by both inner and outer volume.

So please suggest me which command will be best for separating these volumes....

Generate the two volumes, substract one from the other then mesh the resulting geometry

I assume you want to model the flow inside volume-1 and around the inner volume-2, like flow inside a tube, with an obstruction.

If that is the case, yes, you can subtract vol-2 from vol-1 since flow happens only in the remaining space. In this case you can delete vol-2.

If flow occurs in both volumes, you need to mesh both volumes, and then define them as different zones in gambit.

thanks srjp

i will do this than inform you what will be the situation.
