Hello César,
It seems like you are running heavy simulation. I have noticed one thing that you are doing pretty well with intel MPI or as a suggestion use MPICH or MPICH2 then see the difference. You can try this on Linux as well and see if there is any change. Thanks, Martin |
Oh, right! It would be good to try these 2 options out, but I may have to do it via command line since in the GUI launcher of Fluent 14 are not available, at least in the version I'm running. I'd like to try this in Linux but now it's urgent to obtain results for my thesis. Maybe later when I have more free time.

Hi Martin,
Hope you are doing well. I'm facing a problem now trying to add another CPU to the ones I told you before in the past thread. This new machine has Windows XP - 64bit as OS. As I told you I have 3 machines with Windows 7 running Fluent in parallel. The MPI for these 3 machines is Intel. I followed the steps to set the MPICH2 as you suggested in the next quoted message: Quote:
Now I'm back again with the 3 machines I had before while I fix this problem. Please, give me an advice. I'm sure this can be solved. Thanks in advance, César |
