Hollow Cone Injection Problem

Hi,

I am using Fluent 6.3.26 to model a hollow cone spray. Fluent offers "solid cone" injection and "cone" injection. I hope I get it right when I suppose that in this terminology "cone" = "hollow cone"...please correct me if I am wrong.

The problem is that when I display the particle tracks of my (hollow) cone injection, there is a lot of particles "inside" the cone. First I thougth it's due to the droplet collision and breakup models, but the problem persists even after disabling all physical models and/or interaction with continuous phase.

Am I missing something here? Any help is appreciated.

Regards, Jakub B.
