Unsteady Flow

Hi everyone,

I'm modelling open channel flow in fluent 6.3. I want to give velocity inputs which change in time to fluent. For example, in first 10 min 0.5 m/s, in second 10 min 0.6 m/s ,then 0.5 m/s for third 10 min

How can i give different inputs in different times to fluent?

Thank you for any advices

you have two options:
1. compute the transient for the first velocity. Then change the BC (without initialization) and proceed the calculation, and so on.... at the end you will have the whole transient;
2. Use UDF to do this
