Hey everyone,
I want to simulate gravity terms in momentum equations (in my code), but as it was highlighted in literatures, the gradient of pressure between control volumes is so high and then the problem (using momentum interpolation scheme - Rhie & Chow) was diverged. I read FLUENT user manual and see for these problems another schemes such as “Body Force Weighted” are advised. Therefore my questions are: 1-I want more information about this scheme (such as some references and new approaches in this field) 2-I employed solution algorithm recommended by Melaaen (his PHD thesis - 1990) in my code. Do any changes need? (e.g. in this algorithm, the fluxes are updated by Rhie & Chow interpolation formula) Thanks for advance. |

Hello,
Did you find out the exact formular for the body force weighted scheme for pressure interpolation? Thank you! Peter Quote:
