Hey everyone,
In some papers, the researchers talk about using ASM (algebraic Stress Model) turbulence model in FLUENT (1-the attached file) but I read FLUENT user’s guide (2) and I see this closure turbulence model doesn’t exist in this software.
I want to use ASM (that means using only one differential equation and not RSM model with using 7 extra differential equations).
Anybody knows what can I do?
Thanks for advance.

1- Andrew Riddle et al., “Comparisons between FLUENT and ADMS for atmospheric dispersion modeling”, Atmospheric Environment 38 (2004) 1029–1038 (In this paper FLUENT 6 User’s Guide was used)
2- FLUENT 6.2 User’s Guide, 2005. Fluent Inc., Lebanon.

Hi dear

Algebraic Reynolds Stress models (ASM) are a group of nonlinear eddy-viscosity models. They attempt to model all the Reynolds stresses without the need to solve corresponding transport equations.
This is a good explanation for ASM.
