In defining spray initial condition. Why do we have to give velocity and mass flow rate as the input.


Cant fluent determine velocity from mass flow rate or calculate mass flow rate from velocity.

You don't have a continuum as a fluid, it is discrete particles, so you need to specify the mss flow advelocity for the parcel
