How to define a parabolic velocity inlet of particles with UDF
I am doing a similation of blood flow with particles.
the velocity of particles at inlet is a parabolic one -261.3*(0.0001-x*x)*exp(-0.5*pow(15.15*t-3.46-15.15*n,2));
x is the position of particles injection, t is the flow time. n=(int)t/T. T is the period.
so this is a parabolic time dependent velocity of particles.
i dont know how to define it in UDF because in the Injection Panel, u can only enter a constant of velocity magnitude without UDF.
I need your help!
I think "custom field functions" in Fluent can help you in this regard.
No need to write a udf
but it is time dependent parabolic velocity, how to use custom field functions to solve it. can u explain it with more details?
