define a water-salt solution in fluent

Hi everybody

does anybody know how to define a water-salt solution in fluent?

thanks

hello,
to define salt-water solution, You need to select fluid species Water [H2O(l)]. Then, you need to create pseudo species named Salt, with similar properties.
Now, create Mixture named Solution, then add water and salt in as species. Now, to adjust % of salt in the solution you need to specify H2O value in the solution panel by 'patch'. i hope, this will be helpful to set up Salt-water solution.

Chetan

Define as mixture !!!

Hi
Thanks for your answer,I knew I should define a new mixture with the species of salt and water, before that I have to define salt as a fluid, is it right?

I think you will define as fluid, but I'm not sure, do some research. But you need define mixture density and if in your case energy is turned on, define liner dependence of density on temperature.
